Here In America

The Statue of Liberty Enlightening The World was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28,1886,designated as a National Monument in 1924 and restored for her centennial on July 4,1986.

Most everyone knows that the stars on the flag represent the United States but forget that the stripes represent the 13 colonies that rebelled against the British crown and became the first 13 states of the union.
Ben Franklin at the constitutional convention said..."God governs the affairs of men.And if a Sparrow can not fall to the ground without His notice,is it probable that an empire cannot rise without His aid."

There is a song by Diamond Rio called "In God We Still Trust" in America

I do,do you?

  1. Very nice Syds, I do trust in God and so believe we must be praying for this wonderful country He allowed us to live in!
